HomeField is not a church management system. There is no giving, no check-in, no events calendar. It does one thing your congregation actually uses every week, and it does that thing carefully.

The things churches ask first.
Is this a church management system?
No. HomeField is a member directory and nothing else. If you need giving records, check-in or event registration, you will want a different tool alongside it. If you need a directory people actually open, this is it.
Do our members need to install an app?
No. The directory runs in any modern browser. On a phone, members can add it to their home screen and it behaves like an app, without visiting an app store.
How do people sign in?
With an email address and password, or with a Google account. Your admin adds a person to the directory and HomeField sends them an invitation to set a password. Children never receive accounts.
Can one person be in two church directories?
An email address can sign in to one church directory on HomeField. If you add someone who already belongs to another church, that church's head of household or admins are asked to release them. If that cannot be resolved, either side can ask HomeField support to step in.
What happens to our data if we leave?
You can export everything as CSV at any time, and ask for a complete backup. After you cancel, your data is kept for 90 days in case you change your mind, then permanently deleted.
